I have decided to start an aquarium. My roommate started one last week. I love aquatic animals. She started a fresh water one. Not realizing the difficulty involved with starting one, she put some fish in it after one week. Results were not so good. We have had 2 casualties so far, not to mention that one of the fish had babies...and they must have been eaten by the other fish.
The tank I am starting is a brackish aquarium. I had decided to cycle the water for a month before putting any fish in there. I want to get a figure 8 puffer fish. I am really excited. I love puffer fish, they are so cute. I decided to have my tank mimic the brackish river environment.
My aquarium is 14 gallons with a crushed coral substrate.
