Today I had my math and English 2 class. Everything seems to be going okay so far. Just worried because I have to buy some text books for my homework, and i need to get a graphing calculator. I want to get these things used, of course, I am just worried about them not being here in time for me to complete my assignment. =/
I am doing an oral presentation next week in English on this Greek poet named Sappho. She was a female from ancient Greece, and was thought to have been born around between 610 and 630 BC Well known for her deep emotional pieces that often spoke of her love for women. Since she resided in a place called the 'Isle of Lesbos' the word 'lesbian' has been derived from Sappho. I thought it was pretty interesting.
Here is one of the poems

I have been up since 6:45 AM....and I just got home from work.
I have been running on borrowed time thanks to my friends SUGAR and CAFFEINE.
Skool went pretty well. I WAS super stressed about my project that is due next week. But, now that I have altered my design I feel much better. Now I just need to find time to do the damned thing. My teacher is pretty cool, he will be my foundation teacher for all my art classes; today was Principles of Design.
Tomorrow I will be at school from 1 pm to 10 pm... taking math and english 2 ... >__<

I think I am mostly nervous about all the money I ave to pay back... but trying to stay optimistic (and sometimes that is very hard for me) >___<

Just wanted to quickly update...since I am thinking about making a huge decision for myself by going to an art college. I went to the Art Institute of Jacksonville today and took a tour and got an interview. My only concern is the financial aspect of it. I have been wanting to go back to school for a very long time now, and I figure if I don't now... I will just keep putting it off. This is a fairly new college to Jacksonville, as I was informed it was just established here 2 years ago. However the college itself has been around since 1921. I am not saying that I am quitting my job as a Tattoo Artist, I actually think this could help my career in the Art Industry. Not to mention I would always have a degree to fall back on in case I decide to make any career changes in the future.
I am currently looking into financial aid and scholarships.... any good site anyone can recommend would be helpful.
